Once upon a time . .

I still remember the brief chatter our ASR32 Teletype made when I powered up the Motorola D1 kit that was about to allow me to break into the marvels of computing.

The ‘kit’ consisted of a bag of bits and a printed circuit board. It took about a day to solder the components and DIL chip carriers.
